Led by China's ‘dual-carbon’ goal, Jiangsu Province's industrial and commercial PV industry has ushered in a new round of explosive growth. in the first quarter of 2025, Jiangsu Province continued to lead the national distributed PV market by virtue of its policy dividends, technological innovation and overall improvement in the grid's ability to consume electricity. According to the data, as of the end of 2024, the cumulative installed capacity of PV in Jiangsu Province has exceeded 61.65 million kilowatts, of which distributed PV accounted for more than 50%, and has become the core force to promote the transformation of energy structure. As a leading PV company rooted in Jiangsu Province, Consort Solar has followed the industry trend closely, taking specialised EPC services and technological innovation as the core to promote a number of high-quality projects to the ground. Recently, a number of industrial and commercial photovoltaic power station projects have been started at the same time, injecting strong kinetic energy into the regional green economy.
Compensation Equipment 500.32KW PV Project
The project is located in Yanqiao Supporting Zone of Wuxi Huishan Economic Development Zone, which is a comprehensive enterprise for the production and sales of grid reactive power compensation equipment and transformers. This project is constructed by Consort Solar as an EPC contractor, making full use of the enterprise's cement roof resources of about 3,000 square metres to build a 500.32kW distributed photovoltaic power generation system, and realizing the deep coupling of clean power and industrial production through the mode of ‘self-generation and self-consumption, with surplus power going online’. The project uses 590W anti-dust accumulation BC modules and 110KW Huawei inverters. The project is expected to generate about 540,000kWh of electricity in the first year after it is connected to the grid, saving about 125 tonnes of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 470 tonnes per year.
WanYue Machinery 249.9KW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project

The project, constructed by Consort Solar EPC, is located in Chengnan Road, Xinwu District, Wuxi, and makes use of about 1,500 square metres of colour steel tiles of the roof of Wanyue Machinery to build a 249.9kW distributed photovoltaic power generation system, which achieves efficient use of energy through the mode of ‘self-generation and self-consumption, and on-grid use of the surplus power’. The project adopts 420 pieces of TOPCon 595W high-efficiency double-glass modules, with a conversion efficiency of 23.03%, and low degradation characteristics to ensure stable power generation over a 25-year lifecycle; it is equipped with Goodway's 110kW PV inverters, which support multiple MPPT tracking, adapt to complex roofing environments, and enhance the overall efficiency of the system; and it is equipped with Consort Solar's independently developed CST-ESS Equipped with Consort Solar's self-developed CST-ESS intelligent monitoring platform, real-time monitoring of power generation data and equipment status improves fault response efficiency by 30%. The project is expected to generate about 275,000kWh of electricity in the first year after being connected to the grid, saving 80 tonnes of standard coal and reducing 218 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
Jianxiang Metal 252.52KW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project
Located at No. 96 Huazhang Road, Xishan District, Wuxi, the project makes full use of 1,320 square metres of concrete rooftop resources, and adopts the ‘self-generation and self-consumption, residual power on-grid’ mode to achieve a seamless connection between clean power and production energy. The project uses 590W double-glass modules with double-sided power generation gain and a 30-year long warranty, paired with Huawei's 110kW inverters, equipped with AI intelligent diagnostic technology to optimise power generation efficiency in real time. The zinc-aluminium-magnesium anticorrosion bracket system is adopted, with a precise inclination design of 3° towards the south, which improves the power generation efficiency by 8% and has a service life of more than 25 years. The project saves 81.3 tonnes of standard coal and reduces 221.5 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually, and the return on investment cycle is only about 2 years, which is a new high for similar projects in the region!
